Great little independent pub, with some nice real ales that are regularly changing.
I just met up with a group of pals prior to Christmas. There was no food, I'm not sure if that is always the case. Best check before hand. We were there from lunch through the afternoon on a Friday enjoying what the bar had on tap. Friendly staff with lovely locals so it was a really pleasant afternoon. A good ol' Whittlesey pub.
Very much a locals pub but the landlord and regulars were all very friendly. Good choice of 3 beers on hand pump with the beer tried being of exceptional quality.

This is a lovely old drinking pub with a great atmosphere and a welcoming landlord. Well kept real ales and a huge selection of whiskies. Not the most salubrious of places but nonetheless worthwhile visiting.
Great country pub on the outskirts of a small Cambridgeshire town. Lovely staff, good value drinks and £60 for a double room excluding breakfast. You can still get good value if you look!
If you are staying in the area the rooms here are immaculate, comfortable beds, thick cozy duvets and fluffy pillows. Phil and Maria are the consummate hosts, and if you live whisky well you will be amazed!! 300+ varieties available. I adore this pub and highly highly recommend it. There is a pizza van on site on Fridays with amazing fresh wood fired pizza.
